G-NetConstellation customized solution for mobile network measurements allows you to build your own fleet of mobile phones sending measurements to your online server database.

To build your own measurement solution you can combine customized apps and apps from Playstore. You can start from absolutely free solution using G-NetReport Demo app and database and G-NetLook Web.Then when needed you can upgrade to customized to your needs and rebranded G-NetReport app and G-NetLook Web.

G-NetConstellation Description

G-NetConstellation customized solution consists of:

  • Measurement apps
  • Web server with SQL database and PHP support
  • Postprocessing and analysis apps

For measurements apps you can use:

For web server database you can use free MySQL or others like PostgreSQL. You need also PHP support for the scripts.

You can integrate G-NetConstellation customized solution in several phases:

PHASE 1 – FREE TEST

You can start with absolutely free solution for testing purposes. You will use:
– measurements – G-NetReport Demo app
– postprocessing and analysis – G-NetLook Web
– database – existing G-NetReport server for database with measurements.
– cost – FREE
In this phase you can test at absolutely no cost the main functionalities.

PHASE 2 – ADD G-NetReport Pro app for measurements

In this phase you can add G-NetReport Pro app for measurements. You will use:
– measurements – G-NetReport Pro app and G-NetReport Demo app
– postprocessing and analysis – G-NetLook Web
– database – existing G-NetReport server for database with measurements.
– cost – purchase G-NetReport Pro app and measurement credits.
1 credit = 1 measurement samples.
The measurement credits prices are: (all prices exclude taxes):
20 000 credits – 0.99$
50 000 credits – 2.49$
100 000 credits – 4.49$

To make G-NetReport Pro app to report to G-NetReport server enable online reporting and set in app Settings – Online Reporting – Report URL following URL – https://gyokovsolutions.com/gnetreportpro_measurements.php.

PHASE 3 – ADD YOUR DATABASE

In this phase you can add your database to collect the measurements and use G-NetLook Pro app connected to your database. You will use:
– measurements – G-NetReport Pro app and G-NetReport Demo app
– postprocessing and analysis – your tools
– database – your own database
– cost – purchase G-NetReport Pro app and measurement credits. Cost for webserver is the hosting price. Free MySQL database can be used.

In this phase you will create your database. See instructions for database creation here. You can use free MySQL for database or others. The webserver must have PHP support for php scripts. Now that you have measurements in your database you can use your own tools for postprocessing or use G-NetLook Pro app

PHASE 4 (optional) – ADD G-NetLook Pro app for postprocessing and analysis

In this phase you can add G-NetLook Pro app connected to your database for postprocessing and analysis. You will use:
– measurements – G-NetReport Pro app and G-NetReport Demo app
– postprocessing and analysis – G-NetLook Pro app
– database – your own database
– cost – purchase G-NetLook Pro app app, G-NetReport Pro app and measurement credits.

PHASE 5 – ADD customized G-NetReport lite app for unattended measurements

In this phase you can add customized G-NetReport Lite app for unattended measurements. You will use:
– measurements – customized G-NetReport Lite app for unattended measurements and optionally G-NetReport Pro app
– postprocessing and analysis – your own or G-NetLook Pro app (optional)
– database – your own
– cost – purchase customized G-NetReport Lite app for unattended measurements and G-NetLook Pro app (optional). See pricing information here.

The customized version of G-NetReport Lite app for unattended measurements is:
– licensed and paid per operator (MCC-MNC)
– not limiting the number of mobile phones where it can be installed

There are two options for customized app:

  • targeting old Android 5.1 version of android – pro – the app won’t request user permissions, cons – on install on new android phones you will get message that this is an old app
  • targeting new android version – pro – you don’t get old app message, con – user must allow all needed app permissions.

PHASE 6 – ADD customized G-NetLook Web app for postprocessing and analysis

In this phase you can add customized web application G-NetLook Web for postprocessing and analysis. You will use:
– measurements – customized G-NetReport Lite app for unattended measurements and optionally G-NetReport Pro app
– postprocessing and analysis – customized G-NetLook Web app and G-NetLook Pro app (optional)
– database – your own

PHASE 7 – Full solution

Online database

Create your database using provided scripts and set the app to report to it.
– download scripts – http://www.gyokovsolutions.com/downloads/scripts/scripts.rar
– setup webserver with PHP and MySql support. You can use some service provider for this.
– create new database on your server.
– use create_table.txt script to create table called ‘measurements’ in your database.
– use test_insert.php for testing the inserting of records in database. Change server, username, password and database name with your values. Copy test_insert.php to your server. When you open it in web browser it should insert test record in database.
– use insert.php for inserting measurement records in your database. Change server, username, password and database name with your values. Copy insert.php to your server.
– use view.php for viewing measurement records in your database. Change server, username, password and database name with your values. Copy view.php to your server. When you open it in web browser you should view records in database.

Pricing information

Current pricing for customized apps is:

– G-NetReport customized app – 3000 Euro per operator’s MCC-MNC combination. No limit on the number of measurement devices where app can be installed.
– G-NetLook Web customized app – 3000 Euro per server and MCC-MNC combination. No limit on number of users that can access the web interface.

Two weeks trial is possible for 500 Euro. Price of trial is deductible from the price of the whole project.

Terms and conditions for customized apps:
– You can choose your own app name and logo.
– This is one time payment. No yearly support fees.
– App bugs are fixed for free. Extra features are paid additionally.
– No limitations for the number of mobile phones where G-NetReport customized app is installed.
